AlUla is one of the cities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, located in the northwestern part of the country. It lies within the geographic area of the Hisma Plateau in northern Hijaz and is administratively part of the Madinah Region. AlUla is approximately 300 kilometers north of the regional capital (Madinah) and serves as the capital of AlUla Governorate.
